2025

overview

Designing a connected financial workspace that helps modern businesses understand their position and move daily operations forward.

The work brought financial health, transaction review, invoicing and document management into one coherent product experience.

my role

I worked across information architecture, core workflows, interaction design and detailed UI, shaping shared patterns that could support the wider financial operations product.

challenge

Business finance is spread across balances, transactions, invoices, payments and supporting documents. The challenge was to connect those activities without turning the product into a dense accounting interface or forcing people to reconstruct context across separate tools.

approach

understand

Give owners a clear view of cash, income, expenses, receivables and runway.

review

Keep transaction categorisation, matching and supporting information close to the work.

act

Make invoicing, payment tracking and document management easy to find and complete.

a shared product language

I used consistent navigation, filters, tables, summaries and side panels across the product. This made complex financial information feel familiar from one workflow to the next while leaving space for the needs of each task.

outcome

The resulting experience gives businesses a clearer path from understanding their finances to completing the work behind them. Each area has a distinct purpose, while the product reads as one connected financial workspace.
